Nature and music are the vehicles through which I find peace. With clay, I am able to create musical possibilities - with drum-making, whistles, wind chimes. The possibilities are endless, so I am continuously exploring.

When I create pottery, I focus on mugs, cups, bowls, and pots. Each meant to be filled and held by an individual - hand-warmers, heart warmers.

I often play with texture inspired by the many faces of the earth, as well as shiny, glossy glazes reminiscent of the satin of water. Always, I am mindful of the fire and air - the final elements used and fused into this remarkable craft, which never ceases to amaze me.

May your cup always be full,

Shari
